The Napa facility is Cultured Stone's oldest facility. Napa, CA is located approx. 1 hour North of San Francisco, CA. The plant and on-site distribution center covers over 36 acres. The successful candidate will lead manufacturing lines in a way that employees work together to help the plant become a world-class manufacturer, producing the highest quality products at the lowest possible costin an injury-free environment. The Production Supervisor will report to the Complex Supervisor and will join supervisory teams which rotate to ensure coverage on all days and shifts. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence via the business Critical Outcomes by being responsible for or leading the following activities... An unconditional commitment toward achieving zero accidents...driving the OC Safety stand. Leading by example. Demonstrates Owens Corning Leadership Competencies. Tracks cost & performance metrics daily that drive continuous improvements to bottom line, IFO results. Support and maintain an actively engaged hourly workforce Continually raises the bar to improve the team's overall performance Leads and supports the plant initiatives, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, etc. to drive out waste and improve safety via best in class housekeeping. Identifies and communicates safety, quality and productivity expectations to primary workforce and monitors results. Coordinates activities and communicate clearly with other shift Supervisors, Maintenance, Warehouse Operations and Planning and Scheduling Develops direct reports through coaching, establishing performance goals and measuring accomplishments Consistently apply plant policies and procedures Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Manufacturing Operations, Business, Engineering or related fields preferred. 3+ years Supervisory experience. Manufacturing Experience. Bilingual Spanish/English is required. Six Sigma, 5S, Lean and related knowledge is also desired.
